The Robert A. Kasey, Jr. Lifetime Achievement Award presented by Connecting Generations honors an individual(s) who has distinguished himself or herself through personal growth and contributions to individual and community development.  

The 10th Annual Robert A. Kasey, Jr. Lifetime Achievement Award

will be presented to longtime Board members and mission champions:

Jane Maroney, Edward F. "Mike" Eaton, and James Patton, Sr.

Exemplary Mentor and Coordinator Awards

In 2008, Connecting Generations presented its first ever Exemplary Mentor Awards to 14 outstanding mentors who were nominated by school, business, and community partners.  Read about all of the past winners.

 

This year's Exemplary Awards will honor mentors and school and business mentoring program coordinators who have been exemplary mentoring champions.  The following individuals will be honored during the awards ceremony at Jazz in January for their outstanding service:

  • Exemplary Mentor Ray Dotts (of Camden)

  • Exemplary Mentor Victor Murray (of Selbyville)

  • Exemplary Mentor Dirk Goverts (of Bear)

  • Exemplary Business Mentoring Program Coordinator Barbara Derby (from BlackRock Investment Management Corporation, Wilmington)

  • Exemplary School Mentoring Program Coordinator Jo Anne Rosenfeld (from North Dover Elementary School, Dover)

  • Exemplary School Mentoring Program CoordinatorJennifer DeHoff (from Mt. Pleasant Elementary School, Wilmington)

  • Exemplary School Mentoring Program Coordinator Barbara Jo German (from Delaware School for the Deaf, Newark)
